The U.S. just came out with this bizarre hacker conspiracy theory now. The official conclusion of the Brazilian government, years ago, was that of sootry insulators. So there is no one trying to use hackers as scapegoats, though maybe someone is using them for scaremonging.
hai very nice

Don't forget 2 Pac rapping about a cell phone inciting envy in Changes: "You gotta learn to hold ya own. They get jealous when they see ya with ya mobile phone.".
This is nothing compared to the BIG problem. The center of the earth is cooling and shrinking and if we don't do something the whole earth is going to collapse in on itself!I know it's true I read it or heard it or saw it in a movie or something or maybe not.!

Yes, but it should have been out by now, if not a year ago - by the time it actually makes it out, Android 3 will be making waves :p . I'd like to see the iPhone and Android OS's force some competition out of Microsoft; maybe once their mobile marketshare dries up completely, they'll consider revamping WinMo. I happen to love Android, though, so it'll be a tough sell (and I imagine others on iPhones or Android devices feel similarly); I don't really want to go back to "pull out the stylus to text someone" :p

My mom has been going through this for almost 10 years now. Plenty of doctors and no real solution. They say it's acid reflux, I think it my mom's inability to tidy up the house with all her stuff. She is definitely not dirty, just a pack rat. We got her one of those Sharper Image Ionic Breeze machines and wouldn't you know it, the damned thing filled up within a week. I keep hearing how bad indoor air pollution can be for people. Perhaps it is worth investing into a good air filtering system. Oh so the Sharper Image machine broke and was never replaced. My mom still coughs. ***** machine and even worse acid reflux meds.

Duncan/Nyxerebos: I think your points are implied by Plastic's comment. Except, that there's no "offsetting" happening. Drug companies make plenty enough profit with just US sales alone. I mean, did it take $120 million dollars of R&D to produce the Hepatitis B vaccine -- where a lot of the research and knowledge of the company has been taken from sources that are free for the company (I'm getting $120 mil just assuming only 5 million Americans get the Hep B vaccine with the cost of $25 -- but of course there's much more than that)? That, and it's a one-time cost for them.. It's not like they continually have to pay R&D to keep inventing the vaccine. So, I'm sure by now, they already realized their R&D cost and everything else is just cost of materials/tax/shipping/operation, which is a very small proportion of the $25. Consider that these companies have many of these different vaccines/drugs as well. It's a billion-dollar industry for a reason, ya know. Many of these companies realized -profits- of over 30 billion dollars in the past. elliotys: Of course generics will always be cheaper than brand name. That's not the argument. The problem is that even with generics... they are substantially cheaper in some other countries than in America. |
