Is anyone else horrified that this was product of the Discovery Channel? I couldn't count the number of grammar mistakes. Apparently the website doesn't have an editor. But then again, an editor might have nixed the article before it hit the net..

Given my customary non-theater viewing habits of watching 15-30 minutes at a time and then putting away movies for days or weeks, I expect I'll not be able to finish this movie before I die. I'm betting that a fan-edit version will come along that's only 4-6 hours and better than the original.?
Only two types of ads bother me:1) Flash ads which cover the part of the page you want to read and have hidden/apparently non-existent "close" buttons, and2) Pages which will not display until the ad is loaded, and the ad server is bogged down.

What sort of parents let an 8 year old fire a sub machine gun like an Uzi?I'm fine with teaching children responsible use of firearms, my own use doesn't extend beyond shotguns and hunting rifles but know that at 8 years old a child has very little chance of being able to control anything more than an air rifle or .22, nor would I trust one to fire those without being absolutely sure they can do so safely - not many 8 year olds could prove that. The fact that such an accident happened makes it clear that the child did not have the necessary experience to safely fire the weapon, something that the person providing the weapon really should have established beforehand - that applies to both the teenager mentioned and the parents.Irresponsible behaviour on the part of everyone involved led to this childs death, attempting to pass the blame onto another is very low when there seems to be a whole lot of it to go around.

Actually.. If it's mandating stuff like the distributors shouldn't encode junk on the CD to stop it the audio from easily being ripped, there's nothing to stop me (as a British Citizen, living in the UK) buying CDs from Germany.From the sound of it though, the court just threw out the record industry's case rather than making any judgement. They just read the existing legislation, worked out what applied, and stated that the (sensible) legislation applies.The fact is that many people who buy CDs these days don't actually listen to them on a CD player, instead they rip, transcode them and listen to them on a personal music player, or music player built into a phone, or on their computer, or on the USB reading music player built into their refrigerator, and the German copyright law allows for that.Personally, I far prefer to buy back-catalogue stuff on CD from second hand music shops than downloading from Amazon, or whoever because it's far more fun, it's more hit-or-miss, and much more exciting when you find that rare extended version of something that never made the charts from 1984, but is really good.
