Just because we wear a uniform doesn't mean we have no morals, that we're rapists and murderers, that we're all torturers, etc. You wanna know what I do? I fix computers and radios. I'm basically Army Geek Squad. Raping and Pillaging doesn't really fall into my personal M.O.[EDIT] -- Also, personally, I don't expect you to "bow and scrape" anything. I don't expect a "Thank you", and I don't expect a military discount. What I do expect, however, is to be seen for who I am, what I've personally done, and treated as you would like others to treat you. That's it.Personally, I don't think you owe me anything more than mutual respect for a fellow human being. |
