This isn't really as simple as people selfishly disregarding a global concern. Consumers often don't have the resources to buy environmentally friendly products, or to live a "green" lifestyle. I will not buy a Prius if it's going to cost me ten thousand dollars more than a Jetta. And I shouldn't be made to feel criminal about that. If you ask me, it's incumbent upon larger industry to alter their practices before we go pointing the finger at the lowly consumer.

Invasive Species == Survival in the face of climate change == Evolution at work.People are so concerned about amphibian declines; yet complain that the Cane Toad is taking over places it's not native to. Perhaps it'd be better for amphibians globally if we *let* them move into habitats where they survive better; rather than trying to constrain them to their historical watering holes. After spreading across a continent, I imagine cane toads will soon fork into many new species to make up for some of the ones that are just barely getting by..

That is great that you have 3G service on at&t -- and pretty understandable if you live in the coverage area. I live around Chicago so most of my friends that have at&t have 3g coverage too! wow. What Verizon's ad does is highlight how few of those areas there are in the US compared to their own service. Also Apple is not disputing the 3g coverage comparison at all -- their entire argument is that stupid people in the population will assume the gaps are for standard talk service - not just 3g. In other words, it is a stupid excuse to pull the ads showing their lack of 3g coverage.But I guess you don't know that since you haven't actually taken the time to watch the commercial, or read about it even though you were able to comment on the article -- guess you haven't figured out how to do that on your iphone yet.Bottom line is at&t is throwing all this money at a court case instead of fixing the 3g coverage problem (that they essentially acknowledge). How does that make you feel as a customer?

The bill doesn't address tort reform. It doesn't address prescription costs (and why we pay multiplier times more than other nations). All it does is create a government program with the same problems the existing system has. It's not even 'reform'.
