I'd be careful there. Lying to police or government agents is a crime. Lying to federal agents was the crime Martha Stewart went to jail for. She was not convicted for criminal actions regarding stock trades but for lying during an investigation. In other words had she said nothing she would not have gone to jail.I'm not saying you cant stretch the truth. But your safer option, legally, is just to say nothing to police rather than lie.
It's great she wants to celebrate her heritage. But if others wouldn't be able to do it, then why should she? Wouldn't it have been simply easier to just notify the school and have her wear one of those rings (I dunno if nose rings are hard to put in/take out) that sorta hide the fact that it's a nose ring (no idea what it's called, but it's flat and plastic and it's supposed to blend into the skin and keep the hole from closing)? Should she have been suspended for it though? No, as long as it wasn't distracting (it's a nose ring, so...what's so distracting?).

It's obviously not going to appease everybody. But hey, a horse racing post on digg, heck yeah!But what the hell, no Zenyatta? 14 wins in 14 starts is greatness no matter how you put it. Secretariat is definitely the greatest in my mind. My personal favorites are Barbaro and Zen though.

What? That is completely stupid. The capacity of batteries are WAY too small (by orders of magnitude) to store excess power generated by these windmills. Battery technology would have to be light years ahead of where it is now to even come close.
