Those men and women signed up to be deployed as per the wishes of the government, that you (collectively) voted in, over the last 8 years.You don't owe them anything, but the choice to kill/occupy wasn't theirs - they're doing their jobs. why does anyone even buy products from China?Time was, made in China meant you were getting the worst quality product, for the cheapest price. For example, If your socket wrench said, "Made in China" you knew it was gonna break. The crowd was yelling "puta", which means "whore". The police came after she had to lock herself in the teacher's room because the crowd was yelling and harassing her, so it wasn't the police that started it.She had to be escorted out of the university by the police. After a few days the university decided to expel her reasoning that she was not dressed properly. Now there's a lot of controversy about the decision and they might be forced to accept her back. She's suing the university (a crappy one by the way).She became some sort of celebrity, all around the news and the interwebs. I have no idea how this happened. I went to university in Brazil, lived my whole life there and never saw anything like this. I would expect people to whistle and turn their necks to watch her, but I never saw this kind of hysteria over a mini-skirt (or anything else for that matter). |
